Coding Club
Learn to code in a club that grows with you! Depending on age, level, and interest, students will explore Microsoft's MakeCode Arcade, building retro-style arcade games while learning key coding and game design concepts; Bitsbox, taking their first steps into real, text-based coding to level up from Scratch and create their own games, apps, and interactive projects; or Python, the world's most widely used programming language - used by Google, NASA, and countless top tech companies, to design games, build interactive graphics, and unlock their creativity. Across all pathways, students work in Code Blocks, Python, or JavaScript, gaining real coding skills in a way that's fun, rewarding, and tailored to them.
Robotics Club
Bring code to life through building and engineering! Our Robotics Club uses LEGO WeDo 2.0 to construct everything from drawing tools and musical instruments to colour-sensing robots, exploring engineering, mechanisms, sensors, motors, and coding along the way. Students also get hands-on with Micro:bit, a pocket-sized programmable computer that allows coding in Blocks, JavaScript, or Python and using its Bluetooth capabilities to build robots that communicate with each other. With project-based challenges spanning construction, electronics, design, and code, there's something for everyone - from complete beginners to tech whizzes - as students bring computing off the screen and into the real world.
