Learning Objectives

Give your child the opportunity to explore robotics and micro-computing with our Micro:Bit course. The students will learn to use the Micro:Bits to communicate and play games with their friends over bluetooth, create wearable technology, and even use the Micro:Bit to create their own video game controllers and program a remote controlled car.

Coding

Learn to modify games, code collaboratively, and problem solve using block-based coding. Even if children are just taking the first steps on their coding journey, students will practise and develop a creative problem solving mindset using code.

Robotics

We'll have lots of fun programming different types of robots, learning all about inputs, outputs and how robots can sense things. We'll learn about the sorts of instructions robots do and do not understand.

Sratch Junior

Learn to code with Scratch Junior, Scratch a simple, visual coding platform that introduces young children to programming by creating interactive stories, games, and animations using block-based commands.

Laptop Hire

Bringing a laptop is recommended if possible as students learn more effectively with a device that they are familiar with. however, we do offer laptops for hire:

Windows Laptop (Free)
Mackbook (£10)
